Build a Balanced
Barre Class
In this first of a series of monthly workshops we will:
*Break down the structure and sequence of a safe and effective barre class.
*Know what to include in your sequencing and why.
*Understand how to balance the sections of your class to ensure you deliver a thorough full body workout experience every class!
*Refine your timing, pacing, and rhytm to keep your classes flowing in a way that is challenging, yet accessible for your students.
*Ask questions, practice and recieve feedback​

Position and Alignment in Barre

Alignment is the KEY to teaching a great barre class!
*Gain a clear understanding of alignment used in barre
*Learn how to effectively cue alignment in various positions, and adjust to needs of individual students.
*Sharpen your ability to “See” what may benefit each student in your class, and learn ways to assist them in making quick, safe, effective change.
*Practice verbal and hands-on adjustments
*Know how to get the most out of each student, and guide them through more than just a great workout.

This month we'll Go deep into the signature section of barre class: the Thigh Work!
*Learn an efficient framework to follow, while having fun wth your own creativity.
*Explore and expand upon your Barre thigh choreography!
*Observe and practice verbal and hands-on adjustments to teach to Best Form
*Come away with tools for sequencing a perfectly balanced thigh series every time.
*Finish with thigh stretches to balance and support your teaching and your body!
