Yin Yoga Nidra with Linda Sunday, October 26,  4pm (75 minutes)

Yin Yoga class is a wonderful complement for those who love the intensity and precision of barre. While barre builds strength, stability, and endurance through dynamic, muscular effort, Yin offers the perfect counterbalance, targeting the deeper connective tissues through long, supported holds and mindful stillness.

​

In Yin, we slow down and stay in postures for several minutes, allowing time for fascia to release, joints to hydrate, and the nervous system to reset. This practice supports flexibility, improves range of motion, and encourages a deep mind-body connection, making it a powerful complement to your barre routine.  You can expect a quiet, meditative class that helps ease muscular tension, increase mobility, and cultivate inner calm. Yin is ideal for recovery, injury prevention, and creating overall balance in your movement practice.

This class is followed by Yoga Nidra which is often called "yogic sleep”.  This practice offers a guided meditation that brings the body into deep relaxation while keeping the mind gently aware. This practice helps calm the nervous system, release tension, and promote emotional and mental clarity. Just one session can feel as restorative as hours of sleep.

No prior yoga experience is necessary, just a willingness to slow down and breathe.
